Do you accept returns?

We accept returns on a majority of our skating products.  For more information, refer to our Policies section. 

What shipping methods do you use?

We ship our products through UPS Ground.  We ship all of our products for FREE in the US, no matter how many products you purchase!  Your order will be processed within 24 hours of your purchase.  Note that we are closed on the weekends.

Do you ship anywhere outside the US? 

Unfortunately at this time, it is difficult for us to do so.  This includes Alaska and Hawaii, since ground shipping does not apply to their boundaries.  If you truly would like to make a purchase outside the boundaries, then please Contact Us and we will do what we can to work something out.

Do you offer any faster shipping rates?

Normally we ship through UPS ground.  Standard delivery will take around 4-10 business days upon which the order was placed.  If you need your products sooner, then please Contact Us and we will try to assist to your needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal.  Understand that Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express through their merchant services.

What's the difference between Indoor and Outdoor Skates?

The main difference is is that Outdoor Skates have softer wheels. The softer wheels outdoors help you grip better as well as going over rougher terrain on sidewalks.  An outdoor wheel is usually under 90A (the lower the number, the softer the wheel).

What size is best for me?

Most sizes are given in both men and ladies' sizes.  Ladies, if you would want a men's size skate, go down one size.

Does wheel size affect speed?

Yes, it does.  The larger the wheel, the more rolling you get for less effort.  This will result in going faster combined with a smoother ride.

What does ABEC mean?

ABEC stands for Annular Bearing Engineering Council and it is a rating of how "good" bearings are.  The higher the number after ABEC-, the better the bearing.  The scale ranges from ABEC-1 to ABEC-9, and Bones Bearings (Swiss) are better than most ABEC bearings.  Check out our Skate Information section for more details.

What does the number for wheels (Hardness) mean?

The higher the number, the harder the wheel.  For outdoor use, it's best to have a wheel below 90A.  For indoor use, you'll want a wheel from 90A or higher.

What is the difference between Double Action and Single Action?

Single-action means that the truck, the part of the skate that holds the wheels, has only one cushion, and they are at a 45 degree angle.  They allow you to be closer to the floor and give you a feeling of stability when cornering at high speeds.  Double-action means that each truck has two cushions and they are at a 10 degree angle.  Double-action trucks allow for quicker turns, and make your skates feel much more responsive.  Double-action trucks are the most common truck.  Click here for more details.
